Insight please
Not sure how everything works these days, ha ha ha.
I am 2 years post op.
I want another baby.
I have been dealing with ovarian cysts for about a year now. I had endo and adhesions removed in September and was told that I had 12-18 months before it possibly came back and then we would have to discuss a full hysterectomy.
I'm only 31.
Is it true that you can get pregnant while on birth control pills? Due to our malabsorption/malnutrition issues of RNY?
I'm going for a sono next week to double check a possible cyst (yet another) and if there isn't one, I was going to have my IUD taken out.
Can anyone give me some insight/advice....kind words preferably please.
Thanks very much!
Hugs,
Jessica

I just want to wish you the best. I hope you get to have your wish come true.
It is a possibility that one can conceive while on the pill especially early out when your malabsorption is at the highest. You are two years out so I don't know if it will be the same fore you. But if you are trying to conceive after taking your IUD out you will not need the pill.
I wish I had more answers for you but I just wanted you to know that I will be thinking of you.
Take care!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

Thank you Cira,
Wish I could go without the bc pills...but they actually help keep the cysts away so I have to take them. But maybe we can find a low enough dose of one that will hopefully not absorb to the point of not conceiving. Guess I'll have to wait and see.
Thank you again, I do appreciate your kindness :-)
