Baby dropping?

So my belly used to be really really high...this is picture of us on Saturday.  Its even lower looking and flatter looking now.  Everyone kept saying..."that baby is dropping".  So here's my question?  If thats so...how long after you "drop" can you expect labor?  I know the WTE book says like 2-4 weeks, but I'm wondering if that is anywhere near true?  What do you ladies think?

depends on your body... i dropped with jayson 2 days before i had him... with jaylyn weeks before i had her.. she was ingaged for weeks in my pelvis before she pressed the labor button... but yeah for first baby thats about right...and you look great!

Thank you!  The compliment is appreciated...'specially since I feel like crap!!!

The Braxton-Hicks(at least I think that is what these are) are worsening....and are worrisome to me because I feel like I'll never know if I'm in labor or not.  Totally afraid of being one of those crazy women that give birth in the toilet because they dont know!

That's about right for first time Mommies!
Remember that with a real contraction you will not be able to talk through them. That holds true for most women!

Wisdhing you an uneventful labor & delivery. You look wonderful!
The last 4 to 5 weeks feels like it will take forever and it takes a toll on the body but it will be all worthwhile in the very end when you get to meet your bundle of joy face to face!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

I dropped with my last one around 35 weeks. Made it to my scheduled c-section at 39 weeks with no sign of labor......was still not dilated, nothing.....and that was baby #4.
