Update38 weeks, its been awhile

I have not been on for about a month because I was put on bed rest, we hit 38 weeks on Saturday and I am aloud to move around again. I had my appointment today and I have been having some major abdominal pain. Turns out I am measuring 47 weeks and the pain I am feeling is nerve endings stretching and tearing, according to my OB. Plus I am having major pain around my port, it is next to my belly button and has become a favorite place for the baby to kick. We went for a biophysical profile and the baby passed! We even got to see our little one breathing. The baby is weighing 9 pounds 6 ounces and we are doing my c-section on April 1st. I will be 38 weeks 5 days and they think the baby will be around 10 pounds by then. We finally agreed on a boy and a girl name, so I am feeling more than ready!

Well, I'm glad to hear that you and baby are doing good. My port is also right by my belly button, I can often feel the pain from it, I'm sure it will be much more uncomfortable as the baby gets bigger. I hope this next week goes by quick for you!!

LOL An April Fools baby!

That's a big baby! So glad that you are allowed to be up and moving around again. A month on bed rest has to drive someone a bit batty! LEss then a week and you get to meet your little one - so exciting! Congrats Momma!

WOW ten pounds...i don't know why those double digits just amaze me.  I hope you have a successful delv next week.  Look forward to seeing those big boy pics.
