lower back pain ugh
Hey guys just a minor vent session. My back is killing me. Has been for two days straight. I have been taking tylenol and applying heat but it is almost constant. I have a fetal assessment at 6 today and the nurse said to tell them and they will have someone from L&D stop in and take a look. How do you spell relief????
336lbs 6/19/06 - 198 lbs - 6/19/10 138 lbs gone forever!!!
We have our miracle: Jakob Makhi born 4-15-10; 4 lbs. 10 oz. 22" long.
C-H-I-R-O-P-R-A-C-T-O-R!!! She had been a god send! I too have been having killer back pain (I have a history of it so this isn't unusual but hurts like heck none-the-less). I would also think that ice would probably help more. Chances are something is inflamed. Is it any better when you lay on your side with a pillow between your legs?
I just took 2 tylenol, a warm bath and am laying down and it seems to be helping. Also see if you can get hubby to rub it for you!
Feel better

Honestly, I used Ben Gay cream and it worked wonders. With my first two pg's, I was really heavy and that contributed to my lower back pain in the third trimester. I went through two tubes of ben gay cream with my last pregnancy (highest weight was 275 and I'm only 5'3")!! I used it quite often and it really helped.
With this one, I've only used it like 2-3 times and it's been so nice to not have the horrible pain hardly at all.

Hi,
I am now 31 weeks pregnant. During weeks 20-27, I had severe back pain with vomitting. I would roll over on the floor, scream, cry, you name it. It felt as if someone wa****ting me in the back with a hammer. So a doula told me to bend over and have my husband apply pressure to the painful area, we assume the baby was lying on a nerve/spine. It helped.
But the pain eventually put me in the hospital for 8 days, on vicodin, morphine, doulada pump, all monitored drugs, ok during pregnancy if not for a prolonged use. Anyway, all of my test came back normal, so they excused it as a pinched nerve, or the baby in the wrong location.
After a couple of weeks, he grew and moved away, no more pain. I hope that this helps and that your pain is not this severe.
