36 week update with ultrasound pics!!!

Well I went in for my high risk OB appt today.  Things seemed to go well but the Dr. was not in to read the results he is going to call me tomorrow to make sure everything is OK.  I had a problem the first two times with the blood flow to my uterus being restricted which I had to take aspirin for 10 weeks for.  The main result of that is a baby with low birth rate and premature delivery.  But technically after tomorrow I am full term and she can come at any time as far as I'm concerned.

She is weighing in at 5 lbs 15 ounces!  It does seem a bit small to me.  When they were measuring the length of her bones all of the "gestational ages" kept coming back at like 32 or 34 weeks.  So I think I'm going to end up having a small, petite girl.  I'm good with that as long as she's healthy!  She was being uncooperative this time and slept through the whole thing so the tech couldn't get all the shots she needed.  But heart looked good and her lungs were moving already like they were trying to inflate which the tech said was good, she's ready to breathe on her own!

Here's two pics of her making kissy lips, how cute!  Her hand is right next to her face in both and as far as I can tell her profile looks just like daddy's with my nose!

Glad your baby is growing.  Small sizes I think can only be easier to deliever right?  Don't think she is too small.  I am basically two days behind you and my lil girl weigh is just at five pounds today.  The say still in the 20th percentile.  I go tomorrow to talk with dr.; but the tech said everything is flowing right, etc...she just lil!

Great pics! She doesn't sound so small - that's almost 6 pounds. ANd remember they can be off by up to a pound. She looks like a cutie!
