Tell me what you think.....honestly

Ok, give me your honest opinion. I'm torn between two crib sets. Now keep in mind I'm very frugal and am only getting the basic bedding set with the comforter, bumpers, crib sheet and ruffle (if it comes with one). We're not doing a whole room decor.

So taking into consideration the two choices I have here and ONLY looking at the bedding and not the whole room, which one do y'all like? The first one is 80 bucks and the 2nd is 60. I just am not sure if I like the 1st one 20 bucks better......lol

I like the second better.  The whole pink and brown decor thing is getting way old.

I like the 2nd one MUCH better and not just because it is cheaper! lol I am super frugal too (just bought a twin size sheet set, comforter and mattress pad for less then $40 total at Target - great sales if you have one!!)

But not just because it is less expensive but the first one is pink overload for me. I like the other colors in the 2nd one.

Thanks Liz! Yeah, the 2nd one was our 1st choice, but then I looked at the 1st one and started getting all wishy washy. We got a Target. I looked at stuff on their website and kind of didn't like it as well as the one we had picked out.

My hubby says the first one looks like bubble gum! lol

Well, I actually think the first one makes more of a statement- the second one seems a littl eplain in comparison. I think it depends on your personality. When my first was born I went with more muted pinks. Now I would lean toward the bright for some reason! Whichever you like better will do- I'm so cheap I don't even end up buying sets. I bought bumpers on clearance at Target for the twins this time around, with plain blue sheets. I am hand quilting some different crib sized panels into quilts and that's that! It's a tradition in our family to hand down a hand made baby quilt,so as th eonly one who quilts I decided to do that this time too. But, I guess it really just depends! Good luck with the choice! At least this is a fun dilemma.

Oh girl, I LOVE sewing but just don't have the energy to do it lately. I used to make EVERYTHING. When I was pregnant with our 3 year old, I actually made boppy pillows. I made quilts too and wanted to make a bedding set this time. Actually had plans too but I'm just not going to do it. It's just going to put more stress on me to get it done by the time she gets here so maybe I'll get one made for her toddler bed! lol Less stress.....got a few years! he he I do save their crib bedding to give them when they get older so they will all have their first special set. I am going to make each child a quilt as well. I have all the material for 3 of them....our 3 boys. Just gotta buy some stuff for the girls'. thanks for giving me your opinion!
