Chemicals, smelly baby & daycare problems ??? (OT)
i dont blame you.... maybe you could say... "hey what did you spray? it smells good".. then she will say "i sprayed .....".. then you can say... " can you do me a favor and keep it away from cooper if possible.. my husband has kidney related issues and we think its due to over exposure of chemicals"... hopefully she will understand...
Just a thought but maybe it is her perfume? I say that because Josiah came home EVERYDAY smelling different then when we brought him to daycare - even his blanket sometimes smells like that. I didn't want to come out and tell my babysitter he stinks (which he doesn't, it isn't a bad smelling perfume) but I asked her if she washed his blanket with something because it smelled 'good'. She said no, it is probably my perfume....she let me smell her wrist and that is exactly what it was. So for me... when he comes home smelling like her, I know she has been loving on him extra that day.
With that... maybe you can approach it in the same way - asking her if she wears perfume because Cooper comes home everyday smelling 'sweet' or however you want to describe it.
Hope that helps!

Well not to play devils advocate, but at least he is not coming home filthy or smelling like cigarette smoke. Maybe she mops her floors a lot or uses rug spray, does he crawl around on the floor? I understand your feelings but once he goes to school, they will be using heavy duty disinfectants and cleaners and you won't be able to do anything about it.
My neice comes home from daycare dirty every day, and she is on her 4th one. If it is really bothering you then say something, but you may just have to choose your battles.
