Update to my Gallbladder Attack post last week.....
Thank you all so much for your responses to my post last week. My doctor does seem to think it was a gallbladder attack. I'm scheduled for my big ultrasound this coming Friday (anatomy scan and gender determination), so he has also ordered a gallbladder scan to take place at the same time. Hopefully we'll find out what is going on. I can't eat or drink after an early breakfast that morning due to the scan, so I'm hoping they are still able to get a good view of the baby (since they normally tell you to show up with a full bladder for this particular ultrasound). Guess we'll see what happens! Have a great week ladies!

Monet,
Even if the tests shows no stones, to assume it's not your gallbladder. My ultrasound showed a normal gallbladder, but I continued hurting. I had a test called a HIDA scan (I think that was the name of it). It's tests the function of the gallbladder. That's were we could confirm that's what was going on. You couldn't have this test while pregnant though. It uses a radioactive isotope. Actually, you probably wouldn't be able to be around a newborn after the test either. I hope the ultrasound will show what's going on!
