Welcome Eva

Just want to share our good news.  Eva Danielle came 2 weeks early (1 week before the schedule c-section) on 3/9/10. She was 7lbs and 183/4 inches.  It was nice surprise to be able to have a v-back....so much easier in the recooperating.  We are home n good but struggling with a weight loss of 20%, breastfeeding issues and jaundice.  I'm supplementing with more formula b/c they want to get that weight back up with the fat content.  My pregnancy was a rocky road but I really appreciate all the support and advice rec'd on this forum.  Would post a pic but not quite sure how to do that.  I'm a lap band patient and around my 3rd trimester I had a whole cc taken out of my bad and so glad that i did. I gained 25 lbs total and very happy with that compared to my 40 + that I gained with my first.  Question is when should I get another fill? I think appts are a month out.  I could schedule n cancel if feeding issues don't get better.  I'm taking a ton of vitamins.  These big ole horse pills. Yuck.  Anyway, thanks again for letting me share our good news!

Congratulations on your baby girl! Glad you got to have a VBAC. I wish I could! *sniff* I envy your easier recovery. I don't have any advice on the fill. I had RNY.

Yay congrats and welcome Eva! DO you have her pic in your profile? If not you can easily upload it there then copy and paste it to a message.

I would call your surgeon and ask - I wouldn't think that there would be a restricition on how long you have to wait before getting a fill.

Congrats and welcome Eva!!! I am have been wondering how you were doing!  How great about the 25 pounds. I am worried about my weight gain. I had some taken out in the first trimester but still have about 2 cc in my 4cc band. I am not sure if I should get a little bit of a fill as I can eat way more than I should!

Congrats on baby Eva!   I'm a band patient also.  Can you take chewable vitamins instead of the horse pills?  I wouldn't suggest having a fill while trying to take huge pills.  For me it always ends up in diaster.   I Eva's jaundice goes away soon.  Both of my babies had it for a few weeks.
