Update...been a while

Hi ladies!  Long time no visit...sorry about that.  Life's been in the way.  I can hardly believe my girls are 3.5y & 15m.  It seems like yesterday that I was posting here that I was announcing my pregnancies!

Anyway I've been busy with LVN/LPN schooling and that on top of the girls...man I've been busy!  My pregnancy weight loss has been slow at coming off but I'm happy to say that since I started school in January that I've lost 10lbs!  Only 11lbs to pre Amanda weight and 16lbs to goal!  I can do this!!  :)

Alice is well.  She's petite...she's 3.5 and is 3'2" and a mere 31lbs.  The girl just doesn't eat!  Sheesh!  She's in preschool and is smart as can be.  Amanda's just as petite.  At 15m she just weighed in at the doc at 19lb 9oz (but she'd lost a little due to a GI bug...which is why she was at the doc).  She doesn't eat much either.  Like today...bugs me to no end..but my girls only ate 2x today.  A breakfast at like 1030am and then lunch/dinner at 5pm.  We've offered inbetween and after..but they just refuse.  I almost wonder if my lack of appetite has affected them at all...anyone else feel this way?

Anyway I just wanted to pop in and show my face...it's been a long while.

Kristy

Hey Kristy! Long time no see! Your little girls are so cute! As far as their eating, just keep offering good healthy food. They'll eventually eat. They won't starve themselves that's for sure! lol Maybe they're just too busy to eat.....lol.....that's the way ours get. Sometimes if you have them come in there and help you make a snack or meal, they actually eat it cuz they helped create it. Sometimes with kids you just have to be tricky. I hope they start eating better for you! Do they like those Pediasure shakes? You might try one of those once a day just for some extra calories and vitamins if you think their diet is suffering (and if they keep up the just twice a day eating it will start suffering and they won't be getting all the nutrients they need). Good luck and it was good to see you!
