we are home :)

Hello everyone,,, my name is jaylyn... i was born on 3/17/10... mommy said it was a lucky day.. something about "the luck of the irish"... i thought it was a good day because her belly was getting tight and i wanted to stretchhhhhhhhhhhhhh... mommy went into labor around midnight.. she woke up daddy and told him to get jayson dressed that it was time... she got there and she was already 5 cm dilated... the admitted her and it was on.. she was in lots of pain... she asked for an epi... the epi never worked and no one could tell her why... she said the best pain control was counting and breathing very slow and thinking about every breath... she couldnt move or speak... it just hurt... she was contracting 1 min apart for 45 seconds... so finally the midwife got there at 638 to break mommy's water she was 9 cm.. as soon as the broke it crowned.. everyone freaked out and told her to slow down and not to push... but i had other ideas and came out anyway at 644... they put me on mommy belly and i was so cold and yelled and yelled... i got my first test right away.. it was called apgar.. i got 9 and 9 both times... they gave me a bath and sent us up to our room... there i met my brother.. hes big and silly looking



he wanted to give me his cookie but mommy said i had to wait a little while to eat cookies... that made me sad...


mommy said that wasnt lady like... so we had our first talk...


here we are getting ready to go home!

ohh yeah.. i was 7 lbs 3 oz and 19 inches long..mommy said to tell erika thank you for being our angel

awwwww, she is so cute! So she came about 8 days after that bloody show you had, I remember that post. I'm jealous and want my baby now too, lol!!!! Congrats on your little princess, you guys sure look happy.

Dear Jaylyn Elizabeth,

Will you marry me?  I have not known you long (although I feel like I do 'cause your mommy and brother have loved you for so long!) but one look at your beautiful middle finger and it was love at first sight! 

My mommy says she is glad you're home and well and that it's sweet how your brother wants to share his cookies.  What do you think of the big hairy Trixie?  You'll like my dog when we get married too.  Her name is Ivy and she lets me chew on her soggy toys.  She'll let you too!
