I did my registry at BRU and might register at target too. I can't decide on baby bottles! I used avent with my son but wasn't a fan. Too much gas bubbles. I keep switching between playtex avent and dr browns. Now I have my eyes on the tommee tippie ones. I'm so indecisive. What bottles do you use or plan on using? Feedback from mamas that have used the above is appreciated also.

I love the Platex avent bottles, My first loved them too.
When I had my second baby she hated them, She only used the Gerber bottles
My next one?? I have no idea. LOL
Good luck

I have heard from several people that recommended the platex bottles so that's what I registered for. I also did register for some of the avent (the bent ones) just in case the baby doesn't like the others. No personal experience though.

I too registered at Babies R Us and target.

I registered for Dr. Browns.  I've heard that they are really good but I've also heard complaints about them being a pain to clean.

This is my first so I don't have first hand knowledge.  Hey, they're the expensive ones so they must be the best, right!?

I love the playtex bottles.  We started out using 4 oz playtex and we are using the 8 oz ones now.  I tried Avent, Dr. Browns and just the plain regular bottles.  The dr browns have too many parts for me.  I never could figure out what was so "special" about the avent bottles.  They really never seemed any different than a normal cheap bottle.

I too registered and picked up some Dr. Brown's.  My sister n law little boy (now 4) used them and he was born at 34 weeks, so always had stomach issues...they worked wonders for her, so I am planning on using those....Stacey

Because we don't use daycare and DH takes a shift with the baby we used the playtex nursers with the disposable liners. It was a cinch for me to mix up enough formula for the day and leave it in the fridge. He can easily pour it into the bottle with the liner, grab a clean nipple, and go. It was less washing too, as yoou an reuse the bottle ppieces and just slide a clean nipple in every time, and they are cheap. It also was the best at getting the air out for us. I looked at the Tommee Tippie bottles too. I did buy some of their sippie cups and they leak really easily- I wonder ifthe bottles might have similar problems. OVerall I wasn't that impressed with the quality of the Tommee Tippie, so maybe that helps. You could always buy a pack and give them a try though! We are just cheap and went for the convenience, and are planning on doing it again this time around.

I love Dr. Browns...used them with my triplets with great success.  I just throw all the parts in a basket in the dishwasher.  Very easy (and we are talking 30 bottles made up at a time)
