Stubborn
Yesterday I got to go the my referral visit at the Perinatal Center. They spent 1.5 hours doing an ultrasound. We could see that we have a very active baby who is laying breech. They had trouble getting the measurements they needed because of the way the baby was laying. They normally take 12 or 13 shots of the heart. They were only able to get 2. They had a hard time getting the measurement for the right arm because the baby was laying on the right arm. They let me go to the restroom hoping that would move the baby a little. They were able to get the right arm. The one time the baby moved and we thought we would get a shot, the stinker crossed his/her legs. The tech said she had to stop. None of us wanted to, but when you have a stubborn noncooperating child, what do you do? Before we left, the tech told us that based on what she could see, she thinks we are having a girl. We aren't sure yet. I tend to agree, but my husband, not so much. I go to my regular OB on Monday, so I am hoping they will take pity on me and do an ultrasound to see if they can determine the sex. So at this point, I don't know for sure what team I am on. I will keep you posted as I learn!!
