OT: I Scoot. I Clap. I am 9 months old! (long w/ pics and videos)
Mommy said I should write ya'll since you helped her so much over the last year and a half!
Just this week I learned some new tricks! I can clap now and I boot-scoot! (See my videos below)
This is the other stuff mommy has in my "notes" from this last month:
- I sit in the cart now at the grocery store and grab all the tags I can
- I love shoes / shoelaces and toes wiggling
- I eat finger food (puffs, Ritz Crackers, goldfish)
-I fell off the bed the other night 'cause I roll so fast! Mommy cried and hugged me and yelled at me all at the same time.
-I say "ba ba ba ba" and "Ga ga ga gi gi gi" but I refuse to say "ma ma" or "da da". (I am saving that until I want something real bad then I'll spring it on them and they'll give me what I want!)
- I am trying to pull up but don't have the strength / balance yet but if people hold my hands I love to stand and "walk".
- I love dogs and clap my hands any time I see them on TV or in real life.
- I go to the baby sitters house now and the other day had a pee-pee accident and she put me in her son's 2T clothes and they mostly fit! Although I usually wear 18 months now.
-I weigh somewhere around 25lbs and am in a size 5 diaper.
- Elephants make me laugh and clap.
- I am getting clingy for mommy now. I want HER to hold me and not anyone else when I'm tired.
-Speaking of tired I fight sleep and don't want to nap. I'd rather play.
- I also don't want to be fed. I want to feed myself. Since mommy won't give me the spoon and bowl of sweet potatoes I just refuse to open my mouth! (But I do like yogurt and will eat that!)
-I had my first ear infection this past month but mommy thinks I'm all better.
- I sleep on my side and often leak through my diaper. Mommy can't figure out how to "fix" this problem. I don't mind - it means more naked time for me when I get stripped down and wiped off in the middle of the night. I love naked time! I try to roll around on the ground naked but mom keeps insisting on putting diapers on me!
-Diapering is much more difficult now 'cause I twist and turn and really don't like to be laying down at all. I am a busy boy - there's no time for laying still.
-I still have fat thighs but mommy says they're not as fat as they were when I was 5 months old. She loves my fat thighs and so do the nurses who give me shots. They say it's "lots of surface to work with".
- I put everything in my mouth. The dog's tail. The remote. My toys. My dog's paw. The floor. The door.
Well that's all for now! I have to go find something to get into..... there's a big houseplant over there I'd like to rip leaves off! (Mom says they are "baby proofing" the house and soon we won't have any plants I can reach! So I have to act quickly!)

Oh my goodness he is seriously one of the cutest babies on the planet!!! You have to have more babies if you guys make them that cute!

You are a cutie Cooper! Tell your Mommy to get you some diaper booster pads from Babies R Us. That may help with the night time leaking. They are located next to the pull ups (at least that's where they are at my store). They look like huge maxi pads without the sticky part.
Hannah still leaks some, but not nearly as bad as without a pad.
