??Nutritionist??
My OB suggested the same thing. I took their paperwork and phone number but havent made an appointment yet. I think that we know what we need to eat and at this point, 2 1/2 years out from surgery it's a choice. I'll have good days and bad... I'm going to continue to see my regular NUT - I'm sure she's seen pregnant women before.

Ive seen 3 this pregnancy. The nut with my surgeons office (at my 6 month), one at about 20 weeks, and the hospital dietician last weekend. I have been battling this inability to stop losing weight since getting pregnant regardless of what I do. I started out at 200 lbs the day of and at my last appt monday weighed in at 161..so about 40 lbs lost...scary to all to see happen from a 34 weeker. Basically, if you are eating like you are supposed to (65-90 grams of protein...depending on the nut, 100 grams carbs, 1800 calories) then they are NOT going to tell you to do anything extra. If your case is getting extreme like mine they will add nutritional supplements like Ensure or Boost or Isopure...they are all the same just different names...basically a high calorie and carbed out drink. I try to drink one a day, they want 2 but the carb, protein, cal ratio makes me literally ill and very sleepy. About 400 calories, 14 grams protein, and 55 carbs, and 20 somthing sugars depending on the brand for 8 oz of milky like substance...so its up there in numbers and I dont even dump or usually have a problem with carbs but these are overkill.
