38 weeks! Here's an update!

 Hey everyone!  Hope you all and your babes are doing well!!!  

So I just figured I would give a lil update on me and Aidan....and our "status".  :)  

I've been having lots of contractions.  Last week I was having them about 6 min apart for an hour...but then they stopped.  I have several contractions throughout the day but they aren't forming a pattern yet.  

BOY oh BOY is the end of pregnancy taxing!  I've had a fantastic pregnancy and really can't complain, but the last week or so has been pretty rough!  Lots of aches and pains...and I feel like a 90 year old woman!  I feel like I need a walker to get down the hallway!  :) hehehehe. 


Had my first little field trip to labor and delivery last Friday.  They showed on the monitor that I was having contractions and I didn't even feel them!  I was like I've had waaaaaay worse contractions than these lady!  :)   Anyway, I didn't want to go to the hospital because i really felt like I was fine...but the doc insisted that I go as a precaution to get checked out.....sooooo I did..but they sent me on my merry little way because everything was good!

Anyway, just wanted to give a lil update and tell you all that I'm so excited....meeting my little man is just around the corner!  :)

Sounds like he'll be here before you know it! Were you dialated or effaced?

 I've been 1cm for about 3 weeks now.  I have a doc appt. this afternoon, so we'll see if anything has progressed!
