There is nothing wrong with letting kids roll around in the mud!
LOL
My DD takes "mud baths" at my moms house in the country.... As long as I'm not the one bathing her, I don't care. Granted, she didn't start doing this until DD was around 3, but still. God made dirt, dirt don't hurt.
I wash mine just because they feel so stiff when they are new.
I come from a family of germophobes so they will not hear of me not washing everything initially and not washing the clothes seperately. (I admit I sometimes separate my stuff from my husbands, so I must have inherited this gene) I will probably be washing and separately the first year and then try to introduce him to the real thing...
336lbs 6/19/06 - 198 lbs - 6/19/10 138 lbs gone forever!!!
We have our miracle: Jakob Makhi born 4-15-10; 4 lbs. 10 oz. 22" long.
I just wanted to say ... don't remove ALL the tags on ALL the clothes and wash every item. Wash a fair amount. Then, when you need more, go back to your unwashed and go from there. You will be surprised when they are little how fast they move up through the sizes. If you need to exchange any for bigger sizes, you will still have tags on the clothes.
God Bless! Jen
