How can I thank DH?

I felt the same way, and here's what I did ...
I went to diaperdude dot com, and got him his own pirate diaper bag, and I filled it with books about daddies and babies (great idea, Liz) and his favorite candies, plus things he would need for the labor and delivery process ... like beef jerkey, chap stick, breath mints, and a roll of ones for the vending machines. He cried, he was so touched! Good luck!

My gears are working to think of something sentimental.

I went ahead and bought him a card, his favorite candies and snacks, and prepped a steak dinner (leaving the meat to the grill master... it doesn't take much effort to nuke some potatoes and pour on Dale's sauce to marinate the meat). I found the most perfect 'Thank You' card and wrote a little letter inside. He's a very macho man and said it almost brought tears to his eyes. He didn't feel like he deserved any of it but I beg to differ. 

Last night was the first time I cooked an acceptable meal in probably close to two months.
