Sad news today
There are widely varying levels of spina bifida. I have it and had no idea until I pulled a muscle in my back at 18. It's not a death sentence, not even a major disability sentence necessarily :)

I had a cousin who was told this also during an u/s and it turned out to be nothing... She was scared to death too.... I understand that you are scared but just keep the faith... Go have the 2nd testing done and see what they find... As one of the posters said already, there are varying degrees of it so it may not be too serious at all... I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for sure...
