Morning Sickness
Gosh woman! Shhhhh! Don't wi**** into existence! LOL Just kidding, but seriously, I didn't have morning sickness at all with my 3rd and maybe got sick 5-10 times a piece with my 2nd and 4th children. Now, my 1st one I was sick every single morning from week 16 til week 20 and then it was gone. And I was find the rest of the day after I got sick. Now all of those babies were pre-op. With this 5th baby, I have had raging all day sickness and finally gave up and got Zofran after weeks of needless suffering.
You are NOT more likely to miscarry if you don't have morning sickness, not in my experience. It's possible that for those who either don't have morning sickness or don't have a lot of it, just have a lower level of the hormones that play a part in morning sickness. That was probably true with me seeing as how my progesterone levels are always very low and I always need supplementation. But with my 1st child I did not........and I had MORE morning sickness than the other pregnancies. I needed progesterone with this pregnancy too even though I've had a TON of morning sickness but I honestly think I've been as sick as I've been because of my surgery (RNY). I had major issues with my surgery before getting pregnant, so I guess I didn't expect that they'd go away after getting pregnant.
If you're not having morning sickness yet, you may not be as far along as you thought, you'll get it later, or you'll get LUCKY and not have it at all or very much. I didn't get it until 16 weeks with my 1st and now with my 5th, I STILL have it at 18 weeks. It's so unpredicatable.
