OT: Second baby Shower??

I don't care how close together kids are, there's going to be stuff the expectant parents need. Even if it is just a "sprinkle" and people bring diapers, wipes, pacifiers, bottle nipples, shampoo, soap, desitin, and other disposable stuff that you run through like crazy with a baby. I'd think it was tacky if you registered for a bunch of new gear when you already have it left over from the last child, but everyone needs diapers.

My 1st shower was a disaster!  No one bought from the registry.  I ended up borrowing major items like swing, bouncer and a pack n play.  Now cut to 2 years later and I had to return that stuff.  I am up the creek!  I hope to god I get a 2nd shower!!

Oh wow! I'm sorry to hear that. I'm kinda in that situation also. My mother and her friend went to several garage sales and bought things for me with my first daughter. When my daughter was about 10 months old that lady's daughter in law ended up getting pregnant and my mom felt obligated and made me give all that stuff and some of my new items to them to "borrow". I was kinda upset but what could I do? They promised, they would give the items back after they were done using them. Long story short... they are divorced, so I'm screwed now. Good Luck!
