Afraid to take a bath - update
LMAO! Whoulda thought? I was really wracking my brain too. I've NEVER encountered that with my 4 kids so even I was stumped. I always KNEW what it was that was up their craw about bath time.........water over the head. My baby that had trouble with it is now 6 and has sensory integration issues and STILL hate the water over the head. Does something to his ears we believe, so we just talk him through it soothingly until the 'torture' of the shampoo is over. Nothing helps with the anxiety. He'll eventually grow out of it......we hope.......by the time he gets to college or I'll be going to his dorm room to wash his hair! lol
