Excited, but nervous

I just found out I am pregnant.  I have an 8 yr old son I had before my WLS.  It has been 7 years since my surgery, but I know there are things I probably should be watching.  The next time I see my Dr. will be in April and I just want to make sure I am doing the right things.  Any advice would be helpful.

THank you

Congratulations!! How wonderful!!

I would add a prenatal & a Folic Acid. If you aren't taking them already add D, Calcium, & Iron w/ a C (the C helps your body absorb the Iron better.) All of those are very important during pregnancy especially the Folic Acid and Iron!

Welcome to the board! You'll love it here!

Thank you everyone.  I am taking my prenatals & I take a iron supplement.  I will look for the folic acid supplements as well.
