I hate to tell you that, even if you threw up, you probably wouldn't feel better. The reason we feel better after we vomit is because we ate something that didn't agree with us. That is not the problem with m/s. That is a hormonal issue. Eating carbs helped me. Crackers, baked chips etc...But my m/s was not severe. I hope you feel better real soon and your doc can give you some good advice!
Good luck at your appointment today!

The trick for me is finding out what goes down good. I am living on soup and crackers for the most part. Kool-Aid and Sprite mixed. Butter bread is God's gift now too. I am loving that stuff now. Mini ravioli's are yummy too. If smells are making me sick, I put a little Vick's under my nose and that's all I will smell. It helps out.
These are the tips I got after getting out of the hospital for dehydration. Try eating chrackers before you get out of bed. That helps me. Also try eating about 6 small meals a day. Eat bland foods (think when you have the stomach flu. Soup, dry toast, dry cereal. etc.)
If all else fails Zofran is your friend.

For me Fresca always made me feel better when I felt the m/s kick into full gear.
I the first trimester post-surgery, I did a LOT of liquid/soft foods. SF puddings, yogurts, protein shakes, soups, fruit smoothies, and even ice cream.
Seemingly my food day had to progress as if I did the food plan after surgery. I woke up and had a protein shake to help "prime my tummy" so to speak. If I tried eating solid foods right after waking up at any time I;d get sick and throw up.
After the protein shake I would move onto a soup. Later a yogurt, pudding, or thick fruit smoothie.
If things went well by this point then I would slowly move onto more solid foods like eggs, tuna, or chicken, or whatever. If it didn't set well then I'd be back onto the soups.
Thankfully now I am in the 2nd trimester I don't have to be so strict with my food plan and magically at 12 weeks with this one my morning sickness mysteriously vanished.
This is my 8th baby so it was weird for me to have that symptom just up and disappear out of the blue one day.

None, and I mean NONE, of the natural remedies worked for me. I did ginger ale, ginger snaps, hot peppermint tea, peppermints, pink lemonade (someone said it might work so I tried it), Sea Bands, tried to always keep my belly full, eating crackers........well, you get the idea. I just had to give up after weeks of puking every several hours and being HORRIBLY nauseous in between pukings, and call my Dr. He gave me Zofran and life is GRAND. What's funny is that the 4mg of Zofran works better for me than the 8mg of Zofran.........weird! Call for the drugs.....it's about the only thing that's an almost guarantee. No need to suffer needlessly! Hope you feel better!
