I didn't. I didn't have any side effects at all with the Clomid.

"Twinges" is kind of a vague description though. More detail?

Sorry
When I say twinges its kinda like little pulls or something. Maybe its cysts? I dunno its hard to explain. Its not painful just odd feeling.

I didn't have those types of side effects; but you should be catious of cyst etc.  The meds are making those ovaries work and work hard, so cyst are possible.  Do you have PCOS?  If it does become painful it's something to call the dr. about.  I had a cyst during my first months of trying and it was huge and very painful.  I got lucky and it dissolved itself so I didn't have to have surgery.

I will mention my side effects from the meds themseleves were mild.  I had some hot flashes and would gain like 10 pounds of what I guess was fluid because it would go right away after I came off the med for that month.

I hope it's successful for you!  Good luck-Stacey

No I dont have PCOS the dr said it would help my chances of getting preg since we have been ttc for a yr now.  The moodiness was def my worst side effect!

Things were defintiely heightened with the Clomid- I felt a lot more going on down there, in addition to emotional side effects and weight gain. I lucked out and got pregnant the first try both times with Clomid, so I have only taken it twice. The first time I took it the side effects were worse. The second I felt a lot of ovary overload- I usually feel them working during regular cycles anyway. Turns out I had twins. Go figure. I also felt pregnancy symptoms really early both times- not sure if that is from the Clomid either or not, as I have never been able to get pregnant without it. Good luck though! Let us know!

I had what I called "pings" 5-10 days po which felt like I was getting snagged from the inside like a sweater pull.   Usually happed within an inch or so of my belly button on either side.  They were quick, sharp and gave me pause for a moment then went away.  Doc figured they were spasms of the ovary.    I was on very high doses of Clomid (200/day)
