Worried to DEATH!

Since my surgery in July 2009 I've been having regular periods, like clockwork! This month I'm late....My cycle was due March 5 and it's still not here.  I took a home pregnancy test on Friday and then Monday, both were negative.  Did anyone else experience negative tests and still wind up being pregnant? I'm so scared and worried.

I did make a dr appt with my ob/gyn for Monday 03/15 because I can't go all this time not knowing for sure.

This can go both ways. Are you still rapidly loosing weight? ALl sorts of things can throw off your cycle. I'd wait a few more days and test again. You can probably also call your PCP and ask them to run your HCG levels just to check.

Several time while dealing with malnutrition issues after surgery, my period went away for months at a time. I didn't worry I was pregnant though cuz we weren't doing anything. I was too sick to even feel like being out of bed, much less being intimate.

As the previous poster suggested, wait it out a bit longer and retest or ask for a blood test. That will put your mind more at ease! I hope you get the result that you are looking for!

Both times I had to have blood work done because I never got a positive on a home test. I would wait (easier said than done) and get a blood test.
