When does the worry stop???

With Ethan the worry didn't stop until he was 1 year old, and the window for SIDS had pretty much closed.  I worried through the whole pregnancy too.  Now that I'm pregnant again, I'm am a complete mess worry-wise.  Everytime I go to the bathroom I'm looking for blood or other signs of problems.  I'm just waiting for the first trimester to pass, but even then I know things can still happen.  I felt a little pain, probably round ligament pain, but then I'm worrying that it's too early for that.  I know there are people out there who don't worry and have these blissful pregnancies, deliveries, etc.  I'm just not one of them.  So I imagine about 2 years from now, while I'll still worry about my kids, it won't be at the same level.
I know it sucks.  Hang in there!

Bella's 2 almost 3 months old and I still worry about her and go check to make sure she's breathing. I even have a bebe sounds that goes off if she doesn't breath for 15 seconds. I don't think I will ever stop worrying about her!!!

oh my gosh, I have posted about this before too!!! I worry all the time- yesterday I was so freaked out to go to my ultrasound - to the point where I only got 2 hours of sleep the night before and dry heaved the whole way there. I guess I just hope for one day at a time.... but I know that I will ALWAYS be a worry wart!!!

Get a fetal doppler. It makes the time in between visits a WHOLE lot more tolerable......for me anyway. And I'm not obsessive about using it 20 times a day. I check her every night or sometimes every other night. Heck, I've gone 3 nights without checking. But at least I know I have the doppler just in case I feel I need to check.

The worry never goes away. It just gets more managable I think, as time goes on. I know your pain. I've been there before. We lost 3 (well really 2 and I had a 'chemical' pregnancy) before we finally got pregnant with our 2nd one and I pretty much freaked out through the 1st trimester. But then I settled down and started enjoying the pregnancy and never looked back. I just prayed and "knew" it was going to be ok.

Anyway, I rent my fetal doppler for 20 bucks a month and it starts picking up at 8-10 weeks. I got it at
www.babysheart.com. I rented from them when I was pregnant with Noah too. It really does give you peace of mind!
