If you get pregnant early (10 monthes out or later) after weightloss do you still loose the weight you need to loose or does the pregnancy void the benifits of wls?

Hi, I was 10 months out of surgery when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter.  I didn't lose anyway weight and I gained a total of 45 pounds with her.  I lost 30 within the first week and the last 10 I lost a little bit later, but I did lose it all.  Now for me though, at 10 months out of surgery I was past my surgeons goal and only 15 pounds away from my personal goal.

You shouldn't expect to.  I got pregnant 9 months out from RNY, and my weightloss stopped and never started again.  I never hit my goal, and now I'm pregnant again.  That's why so many surgeons tell you to wait to get pregnant.  You should make sure you are done losing weight before you get pregnant.
