Bedrest!! What did you do?

Heyyy everybody!! I know I got my nerve, not even on here like that and posting a topic!! lol!! Im sorry, I just get busy, I try to keep up though!! Anywhoo!! I hope all is well with everyone else!!

Well im 31 weeks and I just got put on bedrest! Sucks!! I got rent to pay and I dont have enough leave to cover any of this. Any suggestions or stories on what you did if you didnt have leave?? And what did you do to entertain yourselves while on bedrest??

I have never been put on bedrest but I have friends that have and they had short term disablility that helped out with the bills.  I know that isn't as much as taking home your whole check but if you haven't been offered it you may want to look into it.  But I did actually find a bedrest group on babycenter that is quite active.  When I briefly read it the women there were real troopers and many had fantastic stories of success.

I'm not sure if any agency in your aware can help you.  I remember when I was out and had a job with no benefits basically I had an agency that I was referred to help pay my rent.  This agency paid my rent, light bill, gave me food and a voucher for wal-mart.  So just check around.

Now to keep you business I have my Business Law on line I'm doing I will be glad to let you do for me.  LOL well at least it  will keep you busy.

Im going to check around, there is something here called temporary cash assistance, and pregger women supposedly get it the fastes. we will see on tuesday.

I spent from 16 weeks to 32 weeks on bedrest with the triplets, I could NOT wait to get my rear end out of that bed LOL I taught myself to knit and crochet, read a ton of books, caught up on all my shows online, watched about a million movies and watched trashy TV that I would NEVER admit to watching otherwise LOL 

You should be able to collect disability if this is mandatory and your OB put you out of work, other then that I don't know.

Im going to go see about the disability after i get it in better writing today from my OB. cause she wrote it on the discharge papers from the hospital, but i want her to write it on something else.

How old are the triplets now?? We have Quads in our family (my cousin had them) two girls and two boys, they are 16 now! lol!!
