Let me re-introduce myself

Hi everyone

My name is shannon and i used to be pretty active on the RNY boards back in the days. I decided to come here because i am now 14 weeks pregnant. Hubby and i planned this and we couldnt be happier. Its an exciting and scary time because my other daughter is going to be 16 years old this year :) so .... obviously i took some time off from this whole baby making thing.

Its really like starting over for the first time.

I enjoy all of your posts and still gain alot of knowledge from these boards, only now - im on the preggers side :)

It really is like a whirlwind because i took out my IUD on 11/30/09 and i was pregnant within that same week after 15 years of using an IUD for contraception - imagine my surpise when i was hurling on xmas day - so we consider oursellves blessed.

I am looking forward to getting to know all of you better and sharing times and experiences with everyone :)

Welcome and I feel ya on the age difference. Mine are 16, 11 and 3 months

I am a better parent now though. I have more patience and more undestanding of what to do. I thought I would be so nervous but I have never felt more confident. CONGRATS!!
