Ok last night something started just not feeling right...  I got out of bed to check on my daughter cuz she was still awake kicking the wall... So as soon as I stood on the floor I almost fell I got the worse pain right where my legs and crotch meet... After a few minutes I was able to walk but it still hurts really bad. I ended up coming down and eating a snack cuz it hurt I couldn't even lay down... After an hour and a half I couldn't stay up anymore and just went back to bed... All night it was achy and sore and I just slept like crap...lol This morning the same pain... The boys are moving like normal so I assume there okay... When I stand I feel way more pressure then before and I am paranoid my water is gonna break for some reason... I went to call my mom but she's at wor****il 7 so I can't talk to her until then.. I just want someone to tell me this is normal and I am fine...lol I can't have these boys yet I am only going on 30 weeks. I can't sit to long and I can't stand to much... I have been cleaning just to keep my mind off of everything... I have a bad feeling and I don't know why. I never got any pain like this with my daughter... IDK if I should call my doc. or just go to the hospital...Thanks to anyone *****ads this...I just need positive feedback...lol

I have no idea what it could be but my motto is that if it doesn't feel right, call the doctor.  That's what they are there for!

Good luck

I felt like that often while pregnant!

I don't know if it's round ligament pain or just your pelvis spreading to make room for the growing baby / birthing process...but it felt like each of my legs was being held by sumo wrestlers and pulled in the opposite direction.  Some medevial torture or something....

Still if it doesn't feel right give the doctor a ring!

yeah! thats exactly what it feels like... I never got that with my daughter...  I am almost 30 weeks and just huge I feel like I am 9 months+++ pregnant but I know thats normal from there being 2 in there... I will be sitting and afraid to stand thinking my water is gonna break or something goofy like that... I know baby A is head down and he just head butts/ or punches me 24/7 down low... I have been getting BH contractions all the time but think nothing of them... If it get's worse I will call to see what the doc. says...

Chrissy,
Since your having twins I would call your Dr. now.  I wouldn't wait to see if it gets worse.  Most twins come early, right?   I'm just afraid that you are dilating.

I hope you feel better...try to get off those feet though...I know if it is early labor, working harder will only help that process not stop it.  I wouldn't take too many chances with twins...they maybe running out of room...and I agree a few more weeks is what you need.

Good luck...again, hope you start feeling better!  Stacey

I saw to play it safe, call or go in. If things don't feel right, then use your instinct and get checked out. Better safe than sorry.

Sounds like a problem with your pubic symphysis (the area of cartilage over your pubic bone).
Hurts like a mother! The hormone relaxin relaxes this area in preparation for child birth as well as other ligaments......no ligament is immune. That's why our joints are not as stable when we're pregnant because relaxin can't differentiate between what ligaments are needed for childbirth and what aren't so it relaxes all of them. Very inconvenient for us pregnant folk! lol My pelvis was so unstable with my 1st one, I almost fell so many times cuz it would just give out on me.....my hips especially. I actually had a condition with my 3rd one called Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. It's where I had a lot of movement of the pubic symphysis and it was EXTREMELY painful. I couldn't walk for a week and just to move from the couch to the wheelchair I had to squeeze my legs together to make sure they wouldn't spread at all when I stood up, then had to crouch over at the waist and just pivot on two feet and basically fall into the wheelchair.....screaming in pain on the way down. It was BAD. They weren't all to sure that I didn't rip or tear some of that cartilage, but I never had it checked out after my pregnancy. The pain came back with my 4th baby around the 6th month, but I was pretty bed bound during that pregnancy so the pain wasn't quite as bad as I wasn't walking much. I'm afraid for it to come back during this pregnancy cuz there's not too much I can do for it except deliver. It's one of those grin and bear it situations.

And it sucks for you cuz you got two of them in there to put more pressure down there. I feel for you girl! I hope you feel better! Just rest, ice it when you can and take Tylenol for the pain is about the best advice I got!
