Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

I'm in my 2WW, currently 2DPO, due around the 14th-16th.  KMFX that this is our month!  If not I will likely be calling the OB I want to see and start some basic testing, but I won't be doing anything more invasive than IUI, I've decided - if I even go that far.  Being needle phobic I can't explain the horror of self-injecting for weeks to do IVF, plus we really don't have that kind of money.  Hopefully I'll never have to find out since we want to stop at 1 anyway.

  I'm in the 2 week window as well, 6 dpo.  This cycle I tried Pre Seed and pineapple core.  I am actually trying for #3, my others are 16 and 14.  Hoping to get lucky, but we'll see.

Shari you can add me back to the list.  I have to call the dr when I stop bleeding.  I will have to wait a couple of months to start trying again.  I will probably go the clomid route again.  So back to the list I go.

CD 26 and for the last 3 days feeling pain in my side and tons of EWCM. It's almost time for AF but this is more like ovulation so I took an OPK test this morning and got a positive.  ?????????  My body is soooooooooooo wacky lately.  I have very little hope left in my heart that this will ever work and that I will have a second child. I will be 43 in in couple weeks. My time is short.

 Today is CD 23, had a TON of EWCM on CD 19.  We haven't really been trying the last few weeks.  I have decided that when it happens it happens.  Too much stress otherwise, and I start a new job in a week.
