Can you "drop" this soon?

I swear something is different and has been the last two days.  'Bella has been giving mommy back pain and the occasional sciatica nonsense but the last two days I almost can't walk!  The front of my pelvis hurts like there is this gigantic weight on it and the back?  OH MY GOD!  It feels like my butt goes numb and hurts at the same time all the time.  Getting up and walking is torture and I had my second hospital tour last night and this this was a walking one.  Love the hospital and we got to see the babies in the nursery(my favorite part of any tour!).  I'm thinking she must be head down now but the pressure is unbelievably painful.  I have a doctor's appt on Monday but was just wondering what are the signs of dropping and could she possibly have already dropped into the pelvis?

It truly feels like something is sitting between my legs and I cannot NOT waddle now.  What do you guys think??

Oh yeah...and now all of a sudden I am peeing all the time and after I'm done and get up and start to leave the bathroom I have to go again...not just once all the freakin' time!  Its so freakin' annoying.
I just feel miserable.  I am happy to be a mom but this is definitely not the fun part of the pregnancy....

My daughter "dropped" early too- I had the same types of pain, and was working on my feet. It's still early too. I did pelvic tilts on all fours- if you have What to Expect it goes over them-when she was really causing a lot of pain and that would sometimes encourage her to move or shift slightly to help the pain. Definitely ask your Doc, as they may have some further suggestions. I also know that with the increasing hormones closer to delivery the joints of the pelvis loosen, and that sometimes they can loosen too much which causes severe pain too.

I'm with you on the peeing thing- I have had that  lot this pregnancy, and certainly with my last. Hang in there. You are getting super close!

I can't see your ticker because it's blocked by my office network... how far are you?

I don't really have a good answer... I'm just curious because I think mine may have dropped as well. I was just going to ask a similar question and do a little reading online. The top of my stomach no longer feels like I'm being ripped open from the inside BUT now my discomfort has shifted to my hips, butt, and lower abdomen. Whenever I sit at my desk, my butt starts feeling sore. My hips hurt all day. Walking is harder.

hey lady....we are almost 32wks(on Monday).  Now I'm not sure.  My stomach looks completely different this morning and now she is doing the alien thing of pushing out the top of my stomach.  I swear this morning I look 10 months pregnant!!!!!!  OMG and the peeing thing is not so bad today.  I have no idea what this child is doing!

It is common at this stage for the baby to get in to position for birthing. They usually get in the head down position and this could be part of the discomfort you are feeling. Also this is when the baby starts to gain weight rapidly and you will start to feel more discomfort as she gets heavier. I know around seven to seven and a half months I always was "DONE" with the being pregnant thing! LOL

It's quite possible that your pelvis is opening up some more causing baby to settle a little further down into your pelvis. I just love the waddle! I don't remember if mine dropped or not because I honestly felt the same the whole time. They felt like they took up the WHOLE abdominal space and never really felt like I had anymore room up at the top of my abdomen. I did, however, feel like I was heavier and had more pressure in my pelvis around 36 weeks or so. Could have been the baby dropping, but who knows. I just think it was baby getting bigger and not dropping! LOL
