Should I take a breastfeeding class?
I am taking one next week. I am also taking the child birthing class. I figure why not, it's 2.5 hours and only 10 dollars. I've always thought I would never breastfeed, until I took my second undergrad Biology class this passed summer and saw a video on just how beneficial it is for baby, so now I'm gonna give it a shot. I would also like to be prepared before the lactation nurse at the hospital starts touching my boobies haha!

I am kinda having the same questions as you. I also have to go right back to work (I might get 8 weeks if I take some extra vacation). I want to breast feed, but don't know how feasible it will be once I am back at work. But I do want to give it a shot. I definitely have to take a class though. I don't know what the heck I am doing.
Mommy to 2 of the most beauiful little girls in the whole universe and still in love with my hubby of 8 years. LIFE IS GOOD!
Any class on breastfeeding is very beneficial if you're thinking about breastfeeding cuz there's SO much that you don't think about and wouldn't know going into it. You'd think it'd be a natural thing and that we'd just automatically know how to do it, but you'd be surprised by how much it truly befuddles you and makes you feel like a complete idiot sometimes!! lol
Read all you can about it as well. You can never be TOO prepared or too knowledgable. You might try reading the La Leche League website. It really helped me when I was breastfeeding.
