Husbands

My husband hasn't attended any of my appoints yet.  He says he will attend once the baby gets bigger.

I have 3 appointments since being pregnant.  My hubby missed the first one because of work.  The appointment was at such a short notice, that he was not able to change his schedule.  He was upset when he found out they were doing an ultrasound.  I was so early you couldn't see anything.  The dr. didn't even give me a copy because it was so early.  Since this is technically our first, he is trying to be involved.  Sometimes, too much.  I guess that is why I love him.  He did go to the second appointment since they did the internal u/s for dating purposes.  He went to my last appointment because it was the first appointment that we would actually get to hear the heartbeat.  I know he will go to my next two appointments because the next one is the Level 2 u/s when we find out the sex and the one after that is the results of the Triple Check.  I say let him be as involved as he wants to be.  If he can and wants to go to all the appointments, then great.  If not, try not to be too disappointed and maybe have your mom or best friend go with you.  If they are anything like my mom and best friend, they would jump at the opportunity.  I think mine are praying that my husband can't go, so one of them can.
