Husbands

My hubby made my Level 2 US and that was it, he works almost two hours away from home and I wanted him to have time to take off after baby was born rather then taking days off to go to the doc's with me. If he worked closer or from home I know he would have liked to have come with me more, but it just wasn't possible. Most appointments I was in and out in like 20 mins anyway, pee in a cup, blood pressure, weight, doc would measure me, listen to heartbeat, ask if I had any questions and then would send me on my way.

I make all my appointments on Fridays. He is off on Fridays. He has told me he wants to attend all of my appointments :)

My husband has been to my gender scan only.  I think maybe I will try and get him to an appt when I am a lot farther along but for right now he works a lot.

He does but his job is flexible hours.  Since he has to work a zillion hours a week he can decide when to take off. 

If mine has the day off he will go but he can't take off of work all the time like he did with our daughter... Plus I go to so many more apts. with this pregnancy compared to my daughters... I wish I could have him there all the time but it's to hard for him with his job...

Mine fiance has gone to every one, i schedule them late in the afternoon because he tends to be off by 2 pm everyday. I didnt think that he'd want to go to every single one but the one time i scheduled an appt early in the day he was so hurt lol.
We are having our anatomy scan friday of next week and they had no afternoon appts available so he is taking the morning off and working a late shift just to be there!

I was just wondering because I made my first 2 appointments and my hubby is not going to be able to make it to the first one and possibly the second one and it kind of bummed me out but his work schedule is just soo hectic and he doesnt work at a place where he can say hes leaving and come right back. This is our first and I want him to be able to experience it all with me.

My first pregnancy hubby wasn't super interested in going to all the appointments- I think a lot of it is cultural for him, because in Peru where he is from husbands aren't allowed in the delivery room or involved hardly at all during the pregnancy. So, he thought it was wierd. This time though he seems to really want to go and asks lots of questions, which is nice. Trouble is our schedules really don't match up- I either work or am at internship for grad school and he is with our daughter or at work in the afternoon. I feel bad that he can't go to all of them this time, but I have to schedule them when I can go, for obvious reasons. Ah well. The big ultrasound he went to, and a few other regular appts where they do ultrasounds too. I think this last half of the pregnancy he won't be able to go often though- my schedule is really crazy. I'm glad he is more interested this time around though- last time I had my Mom at my side but she has since passed away and I am liking his support!

My hubby went to two  or three with me this pregnancy.  He went to the ultrasound that I had at 14 weeks, I think he went to the 20 week ultrasound, and he went to my very last appointment.  I wanted him to save his time off for when the baby was born and not use it all up on the Dr.s appointments. 

He made it to all the ultrasounds, but the other appointments were pretty boring so I didn't make him go!
