Post Partum Question
Hmm I think my bleeding lasted 3-4 weeks but I can't even remember. I never bought pads. I took what the hospital had and then my sister in law gave me what she had left from her baby. I liked always though before I started using tampons. They seemed to do the job!

I bled for about 5 weeks, vaginal delivery. I liked the Always 14+ for right after- They are a bit wider and my flow was heavy for a few weeks. I plan on buying them again this time around. I didn't like the ones from my hospital because they were huge- talk about diaper! Everyone is different, and depending on how big your placenta is/etc. you may bleed more or less. Good luck!

Hi Liz
Nothing wrong with planning in advance... It's a good idea to be prepared... I did the same thing with my son...
I delivered vaginally and my bleeding lasted about 6 weeks... It was pretty heavy the first two weeks and then spotting on and off the rest of the time... I prefer the Always overnite brand of pads (or the Equate knockoff of Always @ WalMart)... They seemed to work very well for me...
Hopefully you will be feeling better and ready to roll by the time your vacation is scheduled... Your time is going pretty fast... Seems like just yesterday you announced you were pregnant... I am sure it doesn't feel that way for you though at times... I remember that all too well... lol
Take care!!
