Growth update
So we have gone through our growth u/s and our lil lady went from 7th percentile to 21st percentile. So we are very very happy she is doing well. Over 3 1/2 pounds. Still expecting around a 6 pounder...but I am glad they were happy with her progress. My sugars have been great, right in line with just keeping my diet straight. I went for my first NST test yesterday and my lil ladybug DID NOT like. She wouldn't sit still long enough in the first 20 mins to get a clear reading...so I stayed on the machine another 15 mins. Dr. said if they couldn't get a good enough reading we would have to go to L&D. Thankfully, she settled enough to satisfy the dr.; well enough to not go bac****il Friday for another one. Cervix checked and we are completely closed. So we are moving right along.
I hope everyone has a great day! Stacey

Im so glad you and your lady bug are doing well! I didn't enjoy NSTs because I was always so uncomfortable laying on my back but now I miss those days! I didn't realize it at the time but now I love being pregnant! I can't wait to have my next one! I will appreciate being pregnant so much more then I did w/ this first baby! lol!

Stacey,
I am 32 weeks and also post op from gastric bypass dated 3/17/08. My dr. is concerned about my babies growth and has had me on weekly US and OB visits since week 28. As of today, she dropped from 29th percentile to 19th percentile in two weeks. She is just not gaining weight.
Did you experience any of this stress prior to bouncing back into the + 20 percentiles?
Dr. states they are looking at 3 things in this order: 1) Nutrition, 2) Placenta/Fluid, 3) Oxygen
Dr. has confimed the babies nutrition has been compromised and they are now monitoring the fluid. They say if she drops 10 percentile or below they will schedule and induce to take early. Once the baby drops below 10 percentile they state the oxygen level in utero is compromised and they want to eliminate that possibility.
I have gained 19 lbs slowely over my pregnancy so putting the weight on has not been an issue - not too much, not too little.
What experiences have you had, if any, with this?
Thanks for sharing....

I was at the same place as you when they noted my baby was small inn 7th percentile. They gave me three weeks to add rest to my daily routine. I started workig two days a week from home and laid off extra exercise ect. I thinks what helped me all together. They didnt indicate to me they would take her early but told me if the growth wasnt what they wanted to see they woukd put me on restrictions . I was thankful she got over the 20 percentile. The biggest issue my baby had the baby has a very small stomach. But they are checking fluid on friday. hope you have a successful few weeks.
