Best pregnancy body pillow suggestions??

I can't sleep for anything!! I wake up uncomfortable at least 3 times a night. For a while, I was able to use my hubby as a nice body pillow, but even that isn't comfortable anymore.

I did a little googling only to find that there are tons of different types of body pillows. At this point, cost isn't an issue, but I don't want to spend $60 if it isn't going to do me any good (even if I can return it... I start getting braxton hicks after about 20 minutes on my feet and thus I refrain from shopping, the last thing I want is to have to go more than once to find the right one).

I'd love to get your feedback on the different types that have worked best for you.

I just use a regular old body pillow.  I've been sleeping with one for years and can't live without it.  It still works fine for me.  I don't really see the need to invest in a "pregnancy" body pillow for myself.

They're only about 10 bucks so you could try it and if it doesn't work, try one of the other kind.

I sleep with a little pillow between my legs and that really helps.   I haven't tried a body pillow because each time I'd flip over to the opposite side during the night, I'd have to put the body pillow on that side.   I probably flip over during the night at least 4-5 times, so that would get annoying to me to keep moving the pillow.  It'd probably make a lot of  noise and getting it under the covers would wake hubby up.   Even flipping over and then positioning the pillow between my legs is annoying enough for me right now, lol.  Plus I have been getting hot very easily lately and so I don't know how that would work for me.   Now my sister slept with one and loved it, so every person is different.

So maybe you can look at both a body pillow or a mini pillow for between your legs.   It helps ease the pressure on my hips with that pillow, but I still sleep like crap- it just comes with being in the last trimester, you're not supposed to sleep well.  It just prepares you for when the baby comes and you'll be up a few times a night feeding and changing diapers!  lol   Good luck!

LOL I make my own! Especially since I'm so tall (6 foot). And I can also make it to the softness or firmness I like. I like mine pretty firm so that I don't end up squishing the stuffing together at my knees and just end up having my knees rubbing on each other through the fabric where the padding has thinned out.

I have the plain old body pillow too - I keep it on the outside of the bed and if I roll over I just fold a piece of it up between my legs. I too am a horrible sleeper and am up about 4-5 times a night to get re-situated. Sometimes I also use a normal bed pillow and tuck it under my back.

I have the snoogle. My hubby got it for me at babies r us, and I LOVE IT! I dont use any other pillows what so ever now. Worth the money in my book!

Well for me most nights I am so exhausted that I jus conk out without even trying. Nights when getting to bed is troubling my snoogle is my best friend. It gives full body support (back and front) and it keeps me from tossing and turning which would be the culprit of me waking up. You might have trouble with it if you are a flipper at night as it would taking adjusting everytime but I am generally a still sleeper and dont move much.

Hubby and I were looking online and he found this one called the Back n' Belly contoured body pillow. I totally fell in love with it cause you can, according to the pics, use it Boppy style after the baby is here.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.
