Hello Ladies

I have a procedure coming up soon called flourascope cannelization on March 12th. I am not going to be sedated and I am scared it is going to be painful, has anyone has this done? Can you tell me your experience. I am so excited for the thought of being able to become pregnant but terrified at the thought that if I jump or something while she is in there with the wire it will harm my tube and I will never have a chance. Also for those of you that has had this done.....was it successful????
I will be most grateful of any responces.

I've not had the procedure.  I just wanted to wish you good luck.  I hope this does the trick and you'll be holding a sweet baby in your arms in about 9 months!

I haven't had it done, but I was almost going to get something like it done when we were having fertility problems with our 2nd child. We're now pregnant with #5, very blessed! And I'm glad I never had that procedure done, but I hope and pray that yours goes well and without incident!

I had a hysterosalpingogram when going through TTC my son. I was given a pain med script to take about an hour before the procedure and then told to take ibuprofen after, as needed. It was uncomfortable, but not horribly so. Some have a worst time then others. I actually was really nauseated afterwards and threw up but told that was from the dye they use. The procedure I had checks the fallopian tubes and uterus. I have PCOS and was told this could also help to clear out all the extra cysts. I had that in January of that year, and found out I was pregnant in March meaning I had conceived within a month after the procedure with the help of the meds I was on as well. So, I think it can help if you have no blockages.

Hello and thank you for your reply. I have had a hystrosalpinggram as well and it was not too bad. It is the wire and balloon they put up through my tube to un-block it. I am scared that is going to hurt. I don't know what TTC is I am glad you were able to get pregnant, that is awesome. I hope for the same success. Thank you for your reply, it is really appreciated. I t gives me hope.

I don't know if it hurts or not...I've had HSG (the one Samara mentioned) and it was uncomfortable but not painful.  Ask your drwhat to expect and wehther you should take any tylenol before hand.

I hope it works for you.  Good luck!
