Need Help with Name
I thought we had settled on a name for this baby, apparently not. :(
This is driving me kind of crazy too, now.
First here are the names we have picked out:
Adelyn Grace
Arden Lily
Arden Willow
Okay so, Adelyn Grace was the first name we had picked if this was a girl. We've had it since November and it was pretty much a given.
About December some time I felt like baby would end up being a boy so I focused more on boy names. I had Ashton Michael picked out but DH hated it because it reminded him of Ashton Kutcher and his character on That 70's Show (Michael).
Since he hated the name I went seaarching for an alternative name. About a month ago I found the name Arden listed as a boy's name in just about every site I went to. I liked it and went to Dh with it as an alternative to Ashton. It would have been Arden Michael. DH HATED it even MORE because he see's it as a girls name thanks to the actress on MadTV Arden Myrin. When he said that I realized who he was talking about and looked it up as a girl name to see if it was indeed more of a male or female name.
Well it's more of a unisex name but primarily a boy name. On facebook though it seems more girls than boys have the name Arden. Even still I liked it for both a boy or a girl.
Well now we know baby is a girl and I am torn between the 2 names we've picked out for a girl. We really do LOVE both names! I've never had this problem!
My problem is my youngest 2 already call the baby Adelyn. We thought we had decided the baby would be named Arden Lily and even announced it, but since then, not even I can stop thinking about the names.
Some days I call the baby Adelyn and other days I end up calling her Arden. I am tired of being confused and I seriously don't want to confuse the kids more than I have to either.
Right now we've decided to just keep the name in the air until we've really settled on a name for her. I am hoping that in time she'll direct me to what she wants to be called and I'll know depending on unconciously call her on a day to day basis, yk?!
Even still, I'd love some input on what name you like better.

I really like Arden. I don't like Adelyn and it took me a few minutes to figure out why, it looked funny, sounded funny in my head - I realized my brain is looking for the "M". Notwithstanding that, I really like Arden - with Willow or Lily. I like Willow because of Buffy but Lily is pretty too.

My brothers gf's baby is named Addalyn. I love that name. It isn't a name I had ever heard before. I think it is very pretty. Adelyn Grace sounds great together!
