for those of us getting towards the end of pregnancy......
Is anyone else feeling extra hormonal? I literally cried in the car on the way to work because I heard God Bless the Broken Road by rascal flatts on the radio.......seriously???? LOL I wasn't even this bad in the first trimester! too funny!
I'm also definitely in the freak out stage....I found out that I was pregnant so early in my pregnancy that it always seemed like I had so much time to get things done....and now...with just a little under 5 weeks left to go I can't seem to figure out where the time went. It keeps running through my head...how am I going to get all my work stuff taken care of before I go out on maternity leave...how am I going to get the house in order before EVERYONE is here....blah blah blah. I feel like I'm out of time :) Trying to just do one little thing at a time. pluggin away.
I know I'm just feeling like this because I'm nervous and it's crunch time...and it's so hard because this is a situation that we have NO control over....we have no idea when Baby Aidan will decide to make his grand entrance, which is exciting and scary all at the same time :)
It's so crazy....I've never been so excited and scared at the same time in my life....but I definitely can't wait to meet my little boy. :) :)

. Thankfully I came to my senses in about 5 minutes...its in a box Simone and its not perishable, nothing will happen. I am also freaking because my baby shower isnt until the last week of March (36 weeks for me) and babys always come before even 38 weeks in my family. SO I am scared she might come before the shower, the day of it, or even a few days after and we will have nothing set up or purchased (that made me frantically run out to Target and buy too much clothing). Also, I am a full-time student carrying a full course load and going to school out-of-state...in PA and I live in and will be deliverying in NY (3 hr drive) and I am terrified I am going to go into labor before I am set to leave for the semester and then I wont know what to do. As you can see, I am a big blabbering mess of hormones with an every racing mind of the worst.
But good luck to you and try not to stress too much...hehe I know!

well... ill be 37 weeks tomm... i finally pulled out the stuff for the bags for me..baby.. and jayson.... but then realized i gave the bags i was going to use to my dad to take fishing.... i didnt realize they would become forever-fishing bags and are now filled with fishing tackle... SOOOOOO all our of stuff is sitting in a laundry basket.... but everything else i cant be bothered with... to tired LOL

yep, and I'm more of a mess because I'm tired and not sleeping as well at night anymore- been this way for the past month or so now. I try to stop drinking water an hour before bed, but I still manage to get up to pee once a night (instead of 2-3 times). I also get hot and have to switch sides to sleep on and so I'm waking up anywhere from 3-5 times a night and it SUCKS! But I know it's just preparing me for what's to come and I'll be up with the baby that much soon. I have cried a few times and can tell I'm emotional in the past month, but hey I'm so uncomfortable, tired, and ready for this baby to come.
I am glad I got out the baby clothes from my older son and washed/hung them up a month ago and started nesting a little bit ago, the time is going by fast. My older son was born in march, so we are able to use his clothes for this baby who is going to be here in april- soooo nice! I've also gotten a dresser for the baby, a diaper bag, nursing pads, and a few new things in the past month too. I went out and bought crib bedding about 2 months ago and my parents helped out with the cost, so that was nice. I'm going to get the hospital and diaper bags packed at about 36 wks, so 2 more weeks and can't believe I'm to that point now. We're going to set up the crib in about 2-3 weeks and that will make it more real for me that the baby is coming. I didn't want to do it too soon this time because I did with the other two and it was hard seeing an empty crib for so long. Plus, we are going to have to put the crib in our room (we have a big master bedroom) for a little while, and so I'll be seeing it every day- so seeing it empty for 2 weeks shouldn't be too bad.
It's my 3rd kid and so I know what to expect with most of the birthing process and afterwards, but it's been 3 1/2 yrs since my last baby (son is almost 7 and I have a 3 yr old daughter), so it's a little new again to me, lol. I just can't believe I'll have a baby in about a month from now, it's so exciting!!! Getting induced on sunday, april 4th and can't wait!

Hit goal weight of 140 at 13 months out from RNY!! 130 pounds GONE! 
(laughing)...and I am not even as far out as you guys...and totally hormonal. I cry at anything...literally. My husband made me cry out of happiness the other day...get this. I get totally hot in the middle of the night, throw off the covers, and then knock out deeply(when I can sleep) and wake up really really cold. Well...i got up to go to the bathroom, came back to bed, and laid my feet on Chris. He of course was asleep. He says, "don't worry, we'll get you warm"...and kept saying "don't worry about being cold. Its okay...I'll warm you up.". Chuckling...poor guy is used to my freakouts. But I cried over that because it was soo sweet.
Today at Babies R US I saw the sweetest poem in a frame about a baby and a daddy and busted into tears. My husband was staring at me like I was from another planet!

LOL Anne, I'm the same way at night. I start out cold when I first go to bed and have the sheet and comforter on me. Then I will wake up hot and sometimes even sweaty under the covers and then throw them off to cool down. Then I wake up cold again and will sometimes just put the sheet on me, which isn't warm enough at the time, but I know I won't wake up too hot or sweaty if I do just the sheet. Then I have to wake up to pee or switch sides I'm laying on for the other times I wake up during the night. So it's like do I really ever go to sleep?!!! LOL I'm just hot a lot now though during the day and have to carry around ponytail holders in my purse to put my hair up if I do get hot. And I have to watch out and not wear long sleeved shirts as often now or just not wear a jacket because I get so hot. I remember this with my other two pg's but am so glad it's not summertime right now or I'd be dying even more!
I notice though that I will sleep for a 4-5 hr stretch (usually from 10pm-3am) each night now and then from 3am or whenever I wake up, I'll wake up like ever hour or two because I'm uncomfortable.... it sucks!!

Oh...trust and believe...you are not alone..I feel the same way!!!!!!!!! It jsut feels like I have run out of time and I just don't have everything done. We have everything together for the baby, but I worry about work and being on maternity leave, getting the house together and I can go on and on. It is definitely the hormones.

I can completely relate to all of you. I am 36 weeks and scheduled to have a c-section on March 19th and am so excited and ready for him or her.
My husband broke his leg two weeks ago and cannot bear any weight on his leg until a week after the baby is born and so we are trying to figure out what we will do about lifting our 2 year old after baby comes. I have been taking care of him and her and myself and am getting so tired already. My daughter just got out of the hospital after 5 days with pneumonia and double ear infection and of course, because my husband is crippled up, I had to stay with her the entire time and run home in between to help him with food and showering and even dressing. I think I am very prepared for a 2nd child. hee hee!

My husband broke his leg two weeks ago and cannot bear any weight on his leg until a week after the baby is born and so we are trying to figure out what we will do about lifting our 2 year old after baby comes. I have been taking care of him and her and myself and am getting so tired already. My daughter just got out of the hospital after 5 days with pneumonia and double ear infection and of course, because my husband is crippled up, I had to stay with her the entire time and run home in between to help him with food and showering and even dressing. I think I am very prepared for a 2nd child. hee hee!
