Measuring Small...
Hello Ladies...
(bare with me, I am still really worried about everything)
I had my second ultrasound yesterday. It was exactly 4 weeks from my first ultrasound. At my first ultrasound I measured 6 weeks and 3 days, yesterday I measured only 9 weeks and 2 days. I have lost 7 lbs this month and the nutritionist put me on a 2000 calorie diet. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? The ultrasound tech and doctor dont seem too concerned, but I know that there is a lot of experience on this board, and someone may be able to help.
I just want to do everything in my control to have a healthy baby...

this has happened to me too and my docter and the tech both said that when you are this early, the measurements can be off fairly easily. the tech said that they start to be more accurate around 12 weeks.
My daughter actually did end up being small, but is was because of a placenta problem (that occured in the last month of pregnancy) and not because of not getting enough calories in.

By the way, all things I have posted/commented/breathed are a result of my own personal experience/education/research. Matter of fact, treat it all as a delusion:)
I recently went through a couple of growth scans because my lil lady was measuring small. At 28 week she was in the 7th percentile and they were concerned so they had me take it a little easier, try eating a little more of the good stuff and come back. I went back Friday and she went from 2 pounds 4 oz to 3 pounds 11 oz and went back up to the 21st percentile. They said that the extra rest/food helped. I myself didn't gain any weight but she did and is back on track. They stil believe she will be closer to 6 pounds at birth, but will be fine. So advise would be try to realax, get some extra rest in and some extra good food if possible.
Good Luck! Stacey
