I just found out I am pregnant. I am two months today. The onyl real symptom I can say I noticed and ignored was how bad my breasts hurt.

I know this isnt the right time and all that, this is a little miracle and I am catiously optimistic as well as pertrified.

I took an ept MOnday, Tuesday, saw OB Wednesday and had an u/s that showed 7 weeks 4 days and we heard the heartbeat. After being very surprised Dr said everything looked good. THe dates do not match up though. My LMP was 12-18-2009 with some funcky bleeding a wek later, she said I should be  measuring over nine weeks but because of my PCOS and irregularity We do not know really when I got pregnant, we are jsut going on the u/s measurements.

I didnt even have an exam, blood work or anything. She popped in did the ultra sound and told me I need to see a high risk OB. I will be seeing them on the fourth and getting another ultrasound.

Also, my symptoms now are: weak, dizzy, extremely tired, breasts hurts and cramping.

Well congrats!! Add carbs. Prenatals. Folic acid. I had to eat every 2 hours to keep from feeling dizzy and weak. I do b12 injections and those helped more with being tired but being pregnant makes you tired. good thing. Just enjoy being pregnant.

thank you shannyn, I appreciate that. I am stil so stunned I am not even sure which questions to ask the forum yet.

I take two prenatal vitamins a day already in leiu of the zillions of suppliment post rny and my labs have been wonderful.

Thank you:)

Aha! I thought of a question, what are the top three things you reccomend for post RNY pregnancies? (i.e products suppliments, ways to help)

I used walmart prenatal vitamins cause the one my doc gave me smelled like vitamin!! No other way to describe that smell. YUCK!! They made me gag anyway but at least not smelling them helped. I used regular calcium. I take prevacid also. B12 shots were my friend every month. I did not take anything fancy or expensive and all of my labs were wonderful. Only time they got off a little was when I was in the hopsital for a kidney infection but it was like 5 days I could not keep anything down so that was expected. I just had to eat all the time. That was scary to me. I was afraid I would gain a ton. :) All so worth it though.

Thanks guys:)

Lexa, I am high risk for a couple reasons. I weigh 376lbs still even though I have lost 200 pounds and When I was nearly 600 I had congestive heart failure. Also I was on several meds that are not good for pregnancy (class D) which I stopped when I found out I was pregnant. THere are a few class C that I need to keep for now. I have a recently herniated L5. SO I am not sure but those things are certainly contributing. I will find out mroe on THursday at my appointment.

Good luck and congrats! My OB also considers me high risk, I am just under 200 pounds and just over 3 years out. I am 28 weeks and so far so good!

Just take the advice of the other ladies with the vites and the carbs.
