Quick update

I had posted a question about my LO's movement at 34weeks a couple of days ago. Well when I got to my appointment I started contacting and by the time I got to L and D I was have contraction 2 minutes apart. Thank the Lord they where able to stop them. That was Thursday and I was able to come home last night with strict rest. I was given the 2 doses of steroids for the baby's lungs and another medication to keep taking. I feel better about the baby's movement because he/she was monitored for two days. And the heart rate did what it was suppose to. I am hoping to make it to at least 37. I will not be on much,so good luck to all of you.

glad everything was stopped... i went into preterm labor with my son at 31 weeks... the gave me the steriods and the pill to keep me from contracting ... i carried him for another month... he was born at 35 weeks weighing 6 lbs :) and healthy as an ox ... no delays... and he is as big as a 2.5 yoa ( comes up to my hips) ... my neighbor asked me "how does it feel to have a 1 yoa half your height"...

So glad that they were able to get them to stop!

Rest up and I hope that Aiden waits a few more weeks to make his grand entrance!

Oh wow! I'm glad they were able to stop the contractions! Just take this time to relax and rest as much as possible.

That happened to me at 32 weeks - I was given the steriods, multiple does of meds in the hospital - which they also sent home for me to take in pill form. I made it to 38 weeks 5 days!!! Bed rest SUCKS, but it is worth it to keep your little one baking !! Good luck to you Emily - I will be thinking of you.

Hope he stays in as long as possible. Had my middle son at 35 weeks. 7 pounds 3 ounces. LOL!! Had a few issues at birth but nothing bad and nothing that could not be fixed. Bake baby bake!! Good luck!
