Baby movement at 34 weeks
It has been a while since I have had a baby and I am concerned about the amount of movement I am feeling. I will have two or three days of what I think is normal movement. Movement every hour off and on through out the hour. On other days, I might feel the baby move ten ten but it is group together, Like the baby has rolled or changed positions and then maybe a kick hear and there through out the day. There is no pattern and if I do not feel anything for a while I drink cold water and lay down. Two weeks ago I went for an NST and the nurse said the baby passed on movement and technically, since I was 31 weeks six day and not 32 weeks I passed on heart rate accelerations. She said if I would have been 32 weeks I would not have passed. She told me chart movement for two weeks and then bring it to my OB. I go tomorrow for that appointment. I guess I am curious as to how much your babies move, and is it a consistent pattern. I am trying to gather all the info I can, so I know whether to push the issues and so I can get some rest. It is just a huge worry to me.
do you do kick counts? I actually don't, but maybe if you track it that way, you will start to see a pattern?
I'm 35 weeks and Aidan moves a lot, but he seems to have certain times of the day where he is more active.
Every now and again, I will notice I haven't felt him in a little while, so I start to pay closer attention. ...and will do kick counts to make sure he's moving at least 10 times in a 2 hour period.
Hopefully your doc will be able to give you some reassurance at your appointment! Good luck! :)
They have minds of their own and just like to make us worry sometimes I guess ;)
