Pregnant Ladies and the pro's

Just wondering if any of you pregnant ladies still check your cervix to see what it's doing? Any of you that have been pregnant also. I wanted to take a poll if anyone would do it with me, and let me know the position and softness of your cervix. Thanks ladies! Jules

I did for probably the first 12ish weeks.  I was paranoid.  It was funny the very very first thing I noticed after I ovulated was my cervix went down, then right back up.  that was the FIRST pregnancy sign I had!

Mine is far back and really thick and.  And closed tight. Hope that helps!

So what is your CM like?

I'm not sure...I'm on progesterone supplements (vaginally) 2 X a day....so you get a lot of discharge from those... are you thinking you are pregnant?

     I have PCOS so starting lastyear in March I was on Progesterone to start my period, and Clomid to Ovulate. Well in September I stopped taking all that crap and my body seemed to had regulated on it's own. It was amazing, I was having my period every month. Sept and Oct I didn't even bother checking my cervix or the cervical fluid. Then in November I noticed more than usual amount of cm in my panties, so checked my cervix and the fluid, and it was eggwhite, which I have NEVER had. So I took an OPK and sure enough it was +. (I also had sore nipples which was my only sign of Ovulation when I was on the clomid before) Same thing happened in December. My period was completely finished Jan 20th. So I have just been waiting to see some signs of Ovulation. But nothing. I have taken a couple OPK's and one of them seemed like it was getting close to being positive. So I guess I have either already Ovulated and just didn't know, or I haven't Ovulated yet or..... who know's maybe there is a thiny smidgen of a chance that I am pregnant. So about my cervix..... I SWEAR since the 1st of February, it's been high, soft, and feels open at times. And the cm is always creamy. I guess the only way to know is to wait a week or two and see if AF comes eh. Craziness!!!!

The month that I got pregnant, while i didn't check cervical position after O I did notice that things never "dried up" after O either. I always had little to no CM and the month I got preggo it stayed watery. I knew from about 2 days after conception that I was pregnant. Just a gut feeling. Then less then a week after conception I started to get KILLER morning sickness! 

Naive question - this is my first time being pregnant so how do you check your cervix and what are you looking for?
