30 Week Appointment
I had my 30 week check up yesterday. My doctor was very happy with the results of my 28 week blood work and Ultrasound. I think I already updated that my placenta had moved up out of the way and baby girl was measuring 2lbs 11oz which is 53rd percentile.
I'm diabetic (was prior to pregnancy) so I'll have another Ultrasound to check her size around 35-36 weeks and I'll start having NSTs twice a week around the same time. Everybody says that sounds like sooooo many appointments but I don't care. Any chance to monitor my little girl and make sure she's healthy is A-OK in my book!
We also start our preparation for childbirth classes next week and my hubby is taking a "just for dads" class next Thursday. Oh how I wish I could have a hidden camera in the room for that.

LOL At the hidden camera!
That's great that the placenta is out of the way. I'm with you, I don't care how may appts I have to go to as long as they're telling me that the baby is doing great each and every time! And another ultrasound thrown in here and there ain't a bad deal either. I've never, ever had a NST with ANY of my 4 baby's. I wonder if that's normal? Especially since I was high risk with #'s 3 & 4 (well, and with this one too, but I'm not that far along yet for a NST so we'll see if my OB does one on me). I'm wondering if the fact that I have c-sections is a factor, but I wouldn't think so.....hmm.
Good luck with childbirth classes. I'm really glad I don't have to go to those!
