Tell me about it! I was sitting there thinking so when are they sending me to L&D and then they started talking about waiting for the doc to release me so I said, what about my baby? Can we get someone to check on him??? UNBELIEVABLE!!!

That was a week from hell.  I agree with you -make them hospitalize you to get it in control, then send you home.

I did have to LOL at your husband though - and you telling him to call 911 right before passing out.  Bet THAT got his attention! We'll blame it on him being asleep and give him the benefit of the doubt.  You probably scared the crap out of him too.

Glad Jakob and you are both OK.

thanks Holly, I think you're right. He was so funny that day though. In addition to the telephone question. I couldn't move my body so he had to dress me and when I noticed in the hosp. what I had on I looked like a total clown. I had on bright yellow pajama pants, a light blue tee shirt of his stained with bleach and a red hooded sweater...it was so funny and then the mix matched socks. I told all the docs, my husband dressed me today...I did make it to the ER alive so I guess he did okay anyway...LOL

Wow hun - so sorry that you had to go through all that too! I just went for my GD test this morning and am scared to death to get the results. My Dad is type 1 and I've been down that "32" road far too many time - it's super scary stuff! Luckily we know the signs of it coming on and can stop it in it's tracks.

That sounds like an awful lot of insulin to me - My Dad only takes his with meals. Maybe you need to cut out the  bed time shot and just take it before meals.

Hang in there hun and good luck with the DR!

SO glad that all is well with baby

LMAO @ I still love him, I think. I feel that way all the time. I don't have blood sugar issues but my family does. It can be scary. Glad you are feeling better and Jakob is fine.

I'm sorry..>I know it had to be scary...but the outfit made me LMAO.   I told my hubbie(Chris) about it, and I just know if I'd been in your place, I would be dressed the same way.  He probably was just picking junk out of drawers to dress u in.  LOL
