I found out on Tuesday that I am pregnant with baby number 6. Quite a suprise as we were not trying by anymeans. God's way of saying we needed to add to the family and even things up a bit! I am only 5 weeks and a little scared. I miscarried my first pregnancy, but the last five I had with no complications. I guess once it has happend it just worries me. I have only 3cc in my 10cc band and have never had restriction, so I do not plan on having anything taken out for a while  if at all. Have any of you went through a pregnancy or are far along without having to take fluid out of a band?

Congratulations! I have not had anything taken out of my band and I have about 6cc's in a 10cc band. I didn't get horrible morning sickness though either. Lately I notice it plays games with me though, some days tighter and others not tight at all. I wasn't one to keep a really tight band anyway so it hasn't been an issue and I don't plan on having any fluid taken out unless it gets really bad.

That is my plan too, I am going to wait it out and see. I have no morning sickness yet, but I usually didn't until I was about 8 weeks along, and even in the last four pregnancies it was minor. I am hoping for the same luck! LOL

Yeah, this pregnancy wasn't as bad as my first. This time around I didn't get morning sickness until about 8 weeks and it only lasted a couple weeks. I never threw up, I just had to keep something in my stomach all the time. Hopefully your morning sickness will be the same as it was in your past pregnancies.

Congratulations! I have about 3.5cc in a 10cc band. I haven't had to have anything taken out, but I did not have morning sickness either. Lately, I'm noticing that I can eat far less, but I think that's because baby is pressing against my stomach these days (I'm very short waisted). I haven't gotten stuck on anything, but I do notice that some days I have to be more careful than others.

I had a little unfill during the morning sickness period, but had it put back once that was over (around 14 weeks). Didn't touch it after that and had no problems!

Woo Hoo!!  2 more to go and you caught me :)  I always get so excited for people who choose to have large families in this day and age (I am not criticizing people who do not choose to), but I came from a family of 4 girls and our house was never quiet and so I love the hustle and bustle of our home.  I remember when I got pregnant with #4 and the church we were going to at the time was a little odd in that almost no one had more than 2, and 3 was considered a lot.  When I got pregnant with #4 we were given such a hard time regarding how can you afford that  (none of their business), are you sure you can handle 4 so close together (again none of their business), how are you going to home school all of those children (ummmmmmmmmmm I had no intention of homeschooling them...lol)  etc.  We ended up leaving that church.  So, when I hear of people who decide to have large families, even if it is not on purpose, I think it is so neat.  I have to admit, only a couple of ours were planned, we just kind of let things happen naturally.  I did try the birth control pill, got pregnant on it twice.  Tried Depo, was successful for a year and then ended up getting pregnant with twins on it...so our attempts at trying to control populating the earth were futile....lol  Congratulations to both you and the other gal who is expecting #5, and of course all of the othe women expecting as well.  Babies are the best gift from God.

I do want to clear something up...I do not think folks who cannot afford to have that many children should be responsible and not continue having babies that the government has to help pay for, but again, all babies are blessings and I have to remind myself of that in those situations.

We were lucky enough that my husband is in a career field where he makes very good oney, so we are okay.   We are not rich by any stretch of the mind, we are middle to upper middle class folks who have months where we struggle (especially December and January) Christmas and a lot of birthdays, including a Christmas day birthday...so we are not rolling in the cash by any means, but we can provide for our children without assistance, although my husband's standard answer when nosey people say "oh my how do you afford all of those children, what do you do for a living" he says...I am a Wal-Mart greeter.  I could just crawl under a rock when he does that, but it sure does shut them up!!! LMAO

Congrats!
